Drug Uses
Viagra soft tabs contain the exact same active ingredient (Sildenafil Citrate) as generic or name brand Viagra. The way the drug is absorbed into the body is the only thing that changes. Just as you would with all other soft tabs, Viagra soft tabs are placed under the tongue and enter the body by a process called sublingual absorption. This simply means that instead of being swallowed the drug is dissolved under the tongue and hence enters the blood stream through the blood vessels that are also found under the tongue. Since Viagra soft tabs bypass the digestive tract they enter the blood stream very quickly and start to work almost immediately.

Once the Sildenafil Citrate enters the bloodstream it starts to work in exactly the same way it would if you had taken the normal Viagra pill. Viagra stimulates the Hypothalamus (section of the brain which controls body temperature, hunger, sexual arousal, etc.) and is also a PDE5 inhibitor, which relaxes hardened or narrowed penile arteries thus allowing blood to enter the penis and cause an erection. 

How Taken
Place the Viagra soft tab under your tongue and just leave it there. It should start dissolving immediately. Do not swallow the drug, otherwise it won't start to work until it has it been fully digested. Swallowing Viagra soft tabs will defeat the purpose of the soft tab version and will also delay the erection for about an hour or more.

Warnings/Precautions
The side effects associated with Viagra soft tabs are the same as with the brand name version. Possible side effects may include flushing, stomach pains or even blurred vision. Some people have trouble differentiating between blue and green and their eyes become really sensitive.

It is also recommended that people taking low blood pressure medications such as nitro-glycerine completely abstain from taking Viagra. Since Viagra lowers your blood pressure, combining it with low blood pressure medications can be very risky.
