Composition of Remeron:
Remeron Tablets are that kind of a drug which is orally administered. The empirical formula is C17H19N3 with a molecular weight of 265.36. Each scored film-coated tablet consists of 15 mg Mirtazapine. The 15 mg Mirtazapine tablets are yellow, capsule-shaped, biconvex, film –coated tablets. The unscored tablets contain 45 mg of mirtazapine. Each tablet is also composed of: magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide and other inactive substances.
How to use Remeron
The effective dose for everyday is mostly between 15-45 mg; the initial dose being 15 or 30 mg. Treating MDD with a sufficient dosage shows positive results in just 2-4 weeks. Patients having major depression disorder must be treated for an adequate period of minimum 6 months to be sure that the patient has fully recovered.

Contraindications of Remeron
Remeron is contraindicated in all those patients who are considerably hypersensitive to the medicine and any of its ingredients. This medicine is not indicated for use in children below 18 years of age. Patients with rare genetic disorders of glucose-galactose malabsorption and galactose intolerance should avoid the use of remeron. During or within 14 days of MAIOs (Monoamine oxidase inhibitors), Concomitant linezolid or IV methylene blue remeron is not advisable to consume. Consumption of remeron should be stopped if the intake of tryptophan is going on.
Effect of Remeron on Pregnancy
Use of this medicine during pregnancy is not recommended until actually needed. If the drug is in use during or shortly before parturition then the discontinuation effects should be monitored in the newborn. It is an FDA pregnancy type C. The research in animal body has revealed that the chances of spontaneous abortion in the first 3 months have increased at a heavy dosage.
